What is Reiki?

Reiki is an ancient Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes balance and healing. The word Reiki combines the words "Rei" meaning God's Wisdom and "Ki" meaning life force energy. Reiki is based on the concept that a universal life force energy flows through all living things

What will happen during our session?

I will ask you to find a comfortable, calm environment free from distractions where you can lay down and simply rest during our session. I will intend to send the reiki energy to you remotely by proxy. Reiki feels different person-to-person and session to session, depending on what is needed by the recipient at that time. It can be experienced physically through sensations of warmth, tingling, vibrations, waves, and buzzing. It can also bring up emotions to be felt, honored and released. Sometimes reiki is very subtle and effects are noticeable after a session.

I take medications and/or have a health or mental health diagnosis. Is reiki safe for me?

Reiki is safe, gentle, non-invasive and intelligent. It works in conjunction with the treatments and practices you already have in place. :)
